COMMERCIAL FIRESTOP FOAM
BOSS® 813 can be used on any commercial or residen al construc on where the code calls for a UL
system for penetra on of wires, cables and metal pipes through drywall, concrete or wood. (Please
consult the UL directory for a full list of approved systems). BOSS® 813 can also be used as a fi reblock/
dra stop in non-fi re rated construc on. BOSS® 813 prevents the spread of fi re, smoke and toxic gasses
from one compartment to another, while s ll maintaining the integrity of the Firewall. BOSS® 813 has
excellent insula on and acous c proper es, and is also paintable (a er inspec on).
BOSS® 813 meets or exceeds all building codes including the new Interna onal Building Code. BOSS®
813 has been tested as a Through Penetra on Firestop for 1 & 2 hour fi re rated construc on and is listed
to UL 1479 (ASTM E-814) BOSS® 813 must be installed as tested to achieve a 1 or 2 hour ra ng. Visit

Firestop-814+ Elastomeric Intumescent Firestop Sealant off ers comprehensive UL Tes ng for a wide
range of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and head-of-wall applica ons for “Through Penetra ons” found in
up to 3 hour fi re rated wood, gypsum and concrete fl oor & wall assemblies. Firestop-814+ is a highly
fl exible, general purpose fi restopping sealant that conforms to ASTM-E814 (UL 1479) standards for
mul -family and commercial fi restopping applica ons.

COMMERCIAL FIRESTOP PUTTY PADS
Fllame Tech Pu y Pads are non-curing, 7" x 7" x 1/8" moldable pads that Easy Installa on are applied
to the backside of electrical boxes to maintain the integrity of 1 & Non-Curing 2 hour fi re rated gypsum
walls. In fi re condi ons, Flame Tech Pu y Pads expand to form and intumescent char that encloses the
electrical box and Long Shelf Life seals off any openings that may allow the spread of fl ame, smoke, and
toxic gases. Flame Tech Pu y Pads have been UL tested and classifi ed as a protec ve material for wall
openings for up to 2 hours.

COMMERCIAL FIRESTOP PILLOWS
2” x 4” x 8” Intumescent Firestop Pillows designed to fi restop large open voids and openings made for
penetra ng items such as cables, cable trays, ductwork, pipes, and conduits. Firestop Pillows are UL
tested to maintain up to a 3 hour ra ng and are so , easily stackable, self-suppor ng and require no
mesh or sealant.
