Handi-Foam Fireblock has a recognizable orange color allowing inspectors to easily iden fy the use of
an approved fi reblock product for Type V residen al construc on. Due to its expansion characteris cs,
Handi-Foam Fireblock is more eff ec ve than many tradi onal fi reblocking materials for preven ng the
spread of air, fl ames and smoke in concealed penetra ons, preven ng fl ame spread from room to room
and fl oor to fl oor. NOT approved for use in commercial or mul -family construc on.

RESIDENTIAL FIREBLOCK SEALANT
Fire Caulk-136 is an economical, fi re rated, non-combus ble material used to fi ll the annular space
around wires, pipes, ducts, and other mechanical penetra ng items in steel and wood-framed single
family residen al construc on. Fire Caulk is tested to ASTM-E136 standard for non-combus bility and
fulfi lls fi reblocking requirements by resuming the integrity of non-rated penetra ons through top plates,
ceiling, and fl oor openings.
