PRE-CAST CONCRETE INSERTS FOR METAL SUBSTRATES

Bang-It concrete inserts are specifi cally designed to provide hanger a achments for mechanical, electrical,
plumbing (MEP) and fi re protec on. Bang-It concrete inserts are designed for installa on in and through
composite steel deck (i.e. “pan-deck”) used to support newly poured concrete fl oors or roof slabs. A er
installa on, the protec ve sleeve of the insert protrudes below the surface of the deck. The sleeves are
color coded by size and allow overhead a achment of steel threaded rod in sizes ranging from 1/4" to 3/4"
in diameter. The sleeve prevents sprayed fi reproofi ng material and acous cal dampening products from
clogging the internal threads of the insert. It also prevents burying, masking or losing the insert loca on. A
hex impact plate off ers resistance to rota on within the concrete as a steel threaded rod is being installed.

PRE-CAST CONCRETE INSERTS FOR WOOD SUBSTRATES

Wood-Knocker concrete inserts are specifi cally designed to provide hangar a achments for mechanical,
electrical, plumbing (MEP) and fi re protec on. Wood-Knocker II concrete inserts are installed onto wooden
forms used to support newly poured concrete fl oor slabs, roof slabs or walls. When the forms are stripped,
the color-coded fl ange is visibly embedded in the concrete surface. The inserts allow the a achment of
steel threaded rod or threaded bolts in sizes ranging from 1/4" to 3/4" in diameter. The hex impact plate
off ers resistance to rota on within the concrete as a steel threaded rod or threaded bolt is being installed.
